- Create a Dragon (Animal) in the Pterodactyl's path. It will attack the Pterodactyl causing it to drop the Starite
- Create a T-rex on the left ledge to attack and kill the Pterodactyl.
- Drop a Large Lava Spout on the Pterodactyl to scare/push it down to Maxwell's level (this can also be used to lure away the Phoenix). Then shoot and kill the Pterodactyl with a Gun.
