The Alligator is a carnivorous, hostile crocodilian. It is one of the few animals capable of scaring away people, including hunters, who attack almost all other wildlife.

In Scribblenauts Remix, the Alligator has a different design, and its lower jaw is missing. The synonym Rutiodon refers to a phytosaur, a semi-aquatic crocodilian-like archosauriform that lived in the Triassic.
