The Boat is a unique vehicle that appears exclusively in the minigame Getting Fishy! in Scribblenauts Showdown. It's a personal fishing boat used by the player, and is distinct from the standard Boat seen elsewhere.
Behavior[]
During the minigame, the boat floats at the water's surface, and the player is able to move it left and right to maneuver their line around obstacles while fishing.
The boat's behavior is not impacted by its appearance in the game.
Appearance[]
The boat's appearance is not fixed, and instead changes based on the current avatar. For example, Maxwell uses a yellow-and-black boat, while Lily's boat is blue-and-white. There are 10 different varieties of boat that can appear.

My Scribblenaut[]
When making a custom avatar in the My Scribblenaut menu, the player can choose which variant of boat they use for the Getting Fishy! minigame. By default, only the yellow-and-black boat is unlocked, and with other variants being purchasable for 5 Starites each. Once purchased, variants can be used an unlimited number of times across all avatars.
Trivia[]
- The vehicle menu in seen in My Scribblenaut uses the unlockable blue and white boat as the image for its boat submenu, rather than the default yellow-and-black boat.
- The boat is the only vehicle in this menu to not use its "default" appearance in this context.
- The thumbnail for Getting Fishy! depicts Maxwell using a green boat variant that does not appear in the final version of the game.
