Dinosaurs & More...

I know dinosaurs are considered 'reptiles' but I'm here to think that maybe we shouldn't include them in reptiles. For instance, Pterodactyl is NOT a reptile (fact) so is Plesiosaurus and a few others. — CandD (talk) 01:09, November 25, 2012 (UTC)

On Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs are considered reptiles, and so? are Pterosaurs and Plesiosaurs, their definitely reptiles (FACT!!!! :P) , you're just mixing it up with the fact their not dinosaurs which is a fair mistake. You're reading words from a budding paeleontologist who's been passionate about natural history since childhood and who spent three weeks on a work experience at the Natural History Museum Paleontology Laboratory in Paris, so I know my stuff. They are reptiles, pterosaurs are archosauromorphs, just like Dinosaurs and Crocodiles, for example, so definitely reptiles. I would bet my life on the fact their reptiles. If you don't believe me, check wikipedia.

Other than that I kind of understand your point of view, but I think for the sake of truthfulness we should include them in, at least until we have more reptiles, cos otherwise this category is going to be a little bit bare. One day, we can at least count on a dozen snakes to beef it up. But even then, I will still be there to defend the fact that strictly speaking, they are all reptiles, and that they still belong in this category, even though they may hold a special place in everyone's tainted view of our world. They may me bigger, but in game, apart from size, more stuff diferentiates a Sauropod from a T-Rex than from a Galapaos Tortoise. SU actually tells you to which in-game categories an objects belongs, so we can work from there.

Anyway, let's see what other editors think about all this!

On A Sidenote, The comment's and this editor are awfully glitchy, it keeps adding random question marks everywhere. I've managed to remove most of them, but it still adds them if i put text in bold?!!
