Cecaelia or Cilophyte, also known less accurately as Octopus People, are a race of aquatic people found only in Lake Yaju. They are physically human from the waist up, but with the body of an octopus or squid. They will eat small fish.
In Scribblenauts Unlimited, one can be found dancing in a monster party after completing a Starite Shards mission in Grave Manor.
The synonym sea witch was more often used than cecaelia to describe these creatures, because Ursula the Sea Witch from Disney's 1989 animated film, The Little Mermaid was a cecaelia. The sea witch in the original story was an old mermaid.
