The Dimorphodon is a pterosaur dating from the early Jurassic period. Dimorphodons are carnivorous and will consume any meat and various small creatures. Previous to Scribblenauts Remix, Dimorphodon did not have the ability to fly (despite being a pterosaur). A Dimorphodon with the flying adjective would also display a flying animation similar to that of the Pterodactyl, which may conclude that it was originally was meant to fly, but was either scrapped or forgotten of (or possibly not done due to lazy/rushed programming). In Scribblenauts Unlimited, the Dimorphodon does not fly of its own accord. However, it is rideable, and once Maxwell mounts it, it can fly. In Scribblenauts Unmasked, its torso is placed on the outside of its body.
In real life Dimorphodon was not remotely as large as it is seen in the game: the real animal was about the size of a crow. Additionally, it did not walk on two legs like a bird, but instead on all fours.
