An Egg is a very fragile object that is the beginning stage of many reptiles and birds. Eggs are mostly used for food resources, but most humans will eat it raw. All kinds of birds will guard it, so will dragons. It can be hatched by warming it (placing warm blankets on it, giving it a Warm Potion, placing a sun near it, etc.), though it can only be hatched in Scribblenauts Unlimited. Several methods of warming may be necessary. It hatches into a Chick.

Uses

When cooked (e.g. put on a stove) it becomes an Omelet. In older versions of Scribblenauts, this also happens if the egg is dropped and it breaks.
In Scribblenauts Unlimited, breaking the egg produces a yolk.

Trivia

There is an egg in the tree in the Metaforest area of Scribblenauts Unlimited. If warmed before helping either Serenity or Jack, it hatches into a chick, which the owl then eats. However, if you save the tree from being cut down, the egg hatches into an Owlet.
