Salt is a white crystalline substance that gives seawater its characteristic taste and is used for seasoning or preserving food.
It will kill Slugs, Snails, but strangely not Leeches, although salt would burn a leech. It will also melt Ice, with the exception of Ice Sculpture.
You can apply it to objects to make them salty. Originally, its appearance was a Saltshaker with salt in it.
