The only thing that could stop them was to combine all the corps' powers! That means everyone joined in -- Even the Green Lantern's arch-rivals the Sinestro Corps... Lily: Maxwell, the Sinestro Corps are powered by fear! Create something that makes people afraid! Create something that terrifies people. Solution: Spawn a spider.
Hal Jordan: The Star Sapphires, including my girlfriend Carol Ferris, also joined... Lily: The Star Sapphires are powered by love! Create something that reminds people of love. Create something that is a symbol of love. Solution: Spawn a cupid's bow.
Hal Jordan: The Red Lantern Corps, led by the horrifying Atrocitus, joined... Lily: The Red Lanterns are fueled by rage. Create something that makes people angry! Create a person that angers people. Solution: Spawn a person with the annoying adjective.
Hal Jordan: The Blue Lantern Corps joins us. They were formed by the banished guard Sayd. Lily: The Blue Lanterns spread hope. Create something that brings people hope! Create a person that brings people hope; Solution: Spawn a olive branch.
Hal Jordan: Even Larfleeze, who is the sole living member of his Orange Lantern Corps, joined the battle. Lily: The Orange Lantern is powered by greed! Create something the everybody wants! Create something that makes people greedy. Solution: Spawn a Money Bag.
Hal Jordan: ...and finally the Indigo Tribe -- Which was founded by the same Abin Sur who gave me my ring -- Joined us. Lily: The Indigo Tribe are fueled by compassion! Create a person who inspires compassion. Solution: Spawn Abraham Lincoln.
Hal Jordan: It was the toughest challenge the corps has ever faced. Maxwell: Gosh, that sure sounds scary! Hal Jordan: It was, but it's over now. You know Maxwell, since your power is a lot like mine... I bet you'd made a great Green Lantern! Maxwell: Thanks, Mr. Jordan!
