God is a white-bearded man in robes.

Behavior

God protects Maxwell and other NPCs. God has a decent offense and strong defense, and able to defend two rockets. God is interested in Goddess and will eat ambrosia. Unlike other Religious figures, God is not invincible, this may be due to the fact the he is religious in the the terms of him being what is worshipped (much like Queztalcoatl). Other objects such as a priest or nun are invincible, but not the gods themselves. God is hostile towards objects with the fearless adjective, even if it is an angel. God will attack objects with adjectives related to the seven deadly sins (Gluttonous, Greedy, Lazy, etc.) but will protect objects with the seven virtues for adjectives (Diligent, Kind, etc). Gods also attack slackers, likely because they are committing the deadly sin of Sloth.

Gods cannot be turned into a Monster with a Monster Gun.

• The synonym “Autotheist” is a word meaning “a person who worships themself”.
• The synonym “Yahweh” is the most common pronunciation of the unpronounceable Jewish Four-Letter Name of God.
• If an Ambrosia is eaten by a male humanoid (eg. man, boy) in the original Scribblenauts, they will turn into God. This is a reference to Greek mythology, where anyone who eats ambrosia is given immortality. In the sequel, all humanoids will turn into God regardless of gender.
• Enemies flash yellow as if hit with light when he attacks. This is probably a reference to deities such as God and Zeus using electricity to kill their enemies. Curiously, the merit "Electrolysis" is only obtained by using Zeus in a level, but not God.
• In Scribblenauts and Scribblenauts Unlimited, Atheists are scared of God while in Super Scribblenauts will instantly attack God. In Scribblenauts Remix, Atheists instantly kill God on contact. Oddly enough, in Super Scribblenauts, God will still be killed by an atheist even if the invincible adjective is added.
• Gods will not attack the player if they are equipped with wings.
