The grappling hook is a tool in the Scribblenauts games. It looks similar to a Gun, yet the barrel is slightly thicker, and the handle is further forward. It can be used to pull objects towards Maxwell, or to latch onto and swing from objects. It is very similar to the lasso, as both are efficient grapplers, and work in a similar way.

Trivia

If an item is glued to the hook, and Maxwell fires it at an object, the game will instantly freeze. (Not in Super Scribblenauts.)
It is quite useful for grabbing on to stuck-to-walls steel,or escaping hazards or enemies.
