The Headless Horseman is a hostile man with no head, if you put him by a horse, he will ride it. If he encounters a pumpkin, a headless horseman head or a jack-o-lantern he will pick it up and put it on his head (Which reveals a starite shard). The headless horseman is based on a character from Washington Irving's short story, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, with the pumpkin head appearance serving as a possible reference to the 1949 animated film adaptation used by Disney in The Adventures of Ichabod And Mr. Toad. He is quite small compared to most humanoids.
