The Katana is a Japanese sword used by samurais during the feudal period in Japan. This weapon does more damage than the regular sword in all games.

In the original Scribblenauts katana was a synonym to cutlass. In the later games, it became a distinct word.
A ninja will spawn a katana after throwing their shuriken during a fight.
