A Large Steel Door Red is a red metal door that only appears in the original Scribblenauts. It was used as a color variant of the Large Steel Door prior to the introduction of adjectives in Super Scribblenauts.
It is often used as a barrier in levels to block Starites, and can often be opened using a Red Button or Red Switch. A smaller variant also exists known as the Steel Door Red.
Appearance[]
It appears as a very tall rectangular red door with a reflective shine on it. It has two columns of black screws in it represented by black dots.
Behavior[]
When spawned by the player, it simply functions as an indestructible metal object.
Trivia[]
- It has a different shade of red than a Large Steel Door with the Red adjective in later games.
- The Large Red Steel Door has an unused sprite in the files of Scribblenauts Unlimited, suggesting it may have been intended to return at one point.
- This unused sprite is missing a couple of the dots that represent screws. The reason for this is unknown.
