The Magic Carpet is a unique rideable object that appears exclusively in the minigame Balancing Act! in Scribblenauts Showdown. It's a flying carpet used by the player to balance objects, and is distinct from the standard Magic Carpet seen elsewhere.
Behavior[]
During the minigame, the carpet is used to balance objects on it. The player can move it left and right to catch falling items, as well as tilt the carpet slightly in each direction. The rolls on either side of the carpet act as small barriers to try and prevent items from sliding off.
The magic carpet's behavior is not impacted by its appearance in the game.
Appearance[]
The Magic Carpet's appearance is not fixed, and instead changes based on the current avatar. For example, Maxwell uses a red magic carpet, while Lily's magic carpet is dark purple with a central stripe in blue, light blue, and red. There are 10 different varieties of magic carpet that can appear.

My Scribblenaut[]
When making a custom avatar in the My Scribblenaut menu, the player can choose which variant of magic carpet they use for the Balancing Act! minigame. By default, only the yellow-and-red magic carpet is unlocked, and with other variants being purchasable for 5 Starites each. Once purchased, variants can be used an unlimited number of times across all avatars.
