The Manatee is an aquatic mammals that has a rounded body, a small head, paddle-shaped flippers and a flattened, rounded tail.

They have 60 health points, and their attack deals 20 points of damage. The player can ride this animal without using a saddle, allowing the player to dive underwater.
They are neutral creatures, only attacking in self-defense. They will eat small fishes and seafood. They are protective towards members of the same species. They will run away from whalers and are curious towards sailors and the player.
In Scribblenauts they protected the player against hostile creatures, however this feature was removed in Super Scribblenauts.
