Trivia[]

  • The "Frog and Toad" Starite is likely a reference to the book series of the same name.
  • If the player purchases the Mayan Warrior, they can take the Macuahuitl the warrior spawns with and use it without needing to purchase it.
    • This costs 5 less starites than purchasing the Macuahuitl directly, and still allows players use of the warrior.
    • However, The player still needs to purchase the Macuahuitl eventually if they want to get both of the level's awards.
  • The Emperor Tamarin is the only item in the Sandbox Store for this level that isn't tied to Mayan or Mesoamerican culture, and is instead a species of monkey from South America.
  • The right side of the level was repurposed from the "Lost Temple", a previously unused level found in the files of Scribblenauts Unlimited.
    • The Lost Temple underwent a massive redesign. It also saw a few design tweaks, such as a small dip made of stairs being turned into the pit filled with snakes, and the addition of some extra platforms. But the overall layout, as well as key features such as the pile of rubble, remain roughly the same.
  • The vine used to climb out of the snake pit is actually an object in the level, instead of a background elememt. This was likely done to make it easier to animate the vine swaying slightly back and forth.
    • This vine has a small hitbox near it's bottom that only objects can interact with. ropelike objects can also be attached near its top, and it can be deleted by deleting a ropelike object that's been attached to it. It can still be climbed even after it's been deleted.
