Editing a Scribblenaut in My Scribblenaut

My Scribblenaut is an Avatar Creator introduced in Scribblenauts Showdown, and allows the player to create up to 15 Custom Scribblenauts to play as in the game's various modes. While it offers fewer options than the editors seen in Scribblenauts Unlimited, and Scribblenauts Unmasked, it still provides a range of options for personalizing characters.

When editing a Scribblenaut, the player can choose from several categories such as Heads, Clothing, Accessories for the Face and Body, and Vehicles. Each Category opens up a submenu with specific parts to select from. For example, choosing "Head" lets the player pick a head from various head shapes. The player can also use the "Randomize" button to randomly generate a new Scribblenaut, replacing the current design.

Unlocks[]

By default, several of the options in the editor are locked. Depending on the part, these are either unlocked after purchasing them for 5 Starites, or are unlocked alongside characters that feature those parts.

Basic Info[]

When making a Scribblenaut, players are given the ability to name them. They can set any name they like for a Custom Scribblenaut, as long as long as the name is 12 characters or fewer and isn't the same as an existing Custom Scribblenaut's name. They can also set the Scribblenaut's skin tone using the Skin Color category, which can be seen on both their head and body.

Head Customization[]

The head of the Scribblenaut can be modified using the Head category, which influences the head shape, hairstyle, and face of the Scribblenaut. The Hair Color for the Scribblenaut is selected separately, and is not related to the head itself. The player can also choose to give the Scribblenaut a Hat and/or a Face Accessory. Hats and Face Accessories are optional though, and can be removed from their respective menus with a button press if the player decides.

Body Customization[]

The body of the Scribblenaut can be customized by selecting outfits from either the "Guy's" or "Girl's" clothing categories. Despite being separate categories, Custom Scribblenauts have no defined genders, and can freely wear items from either one. Additionally, there is no gameplay or audio difference between the clothing options, making the differences strictly visual.

In addition to the clothing, the Scribblenaut is also able to wear an Accessory on their body. Similar to the Face Accessories, wearing a Body accessory is optional, and can be removed with a button press in the body Accessory menu if desired.

Vehicles[]

Certain Minigames minigames use special vehicles that change appearance based on the player's Scribblenaut. The Vehicles menu lets the player choose which vehicles appear in these minigames when the Custom Scribblenaut is used.
