The Necronomicon is a weapon which shoots black magic. The black magic transforms humanoids into Skeleton warriors when it hits them. Upon notice, Necromancers will instantly steal the Necronomicon. The player is immune to the Necronomicon.
- Wizards will instantly attack the wielder a Necronomicon, or the Necronomicon itself if possible.
- Skeleton warriors, although usually evil, will protect Maxwell if he is holding a Necronomicon, yet they will attack him as soon as he drops the Necronomicon. This applies Skeleton warriors spawned from both the Necronomicon and from the notebook.
