Ninjas wield Shurikens by default, but will easily give it up if given any other weapon or holdable item. They will attack other ninjas or Pirates, even if shot by a cupid arrow, and will protect any nearby Sensei, unless either of them are provoked by earth magic.
In Super Scribblenauts, they can attack at long range by throwing their Shuriken or by 'exploding' and then 'appearing' behind their target and instantly killing them.
Trivia
- Oddly, in Scribblenauts they never use their shurikens in combat or any other cases. They will use it in Super Scribblenauts however but they can only throw it once.
- In Scribblenauts, a battle between a Ninja and a Pirate will always be won by the Pirate, due to the Pirate spawning with a cutlass.
- A ninja is one of the nine playable 'Avatars' who can replace maxwell in challenge mode, and one of the ten total avatars.
- In Scribblenauts Remix, if the ninja throws his shrunken, he'll throw it again if he manages to pick it back up. After he loses it, a sword appears in his hand.
- if you apply klepto to him, he will try to take the shuriken back.
