The Nuckelavee is the most feared and horrible of the fairies in Orkney (Scottish Island) mythology. Comes from the sea and infects horses and cattle with plague, and burns crops with the single burning eye on the horse's head. It also has no skin, as well as yellow veins with black blood. Can only be stopped by fresh running water, as that is poisonous to it. In the game, it is a mid-range strength monster, fairly aggressive, and flees from water.
