Nyan Cat is an Internet meme which can be spawned in Scribblenauts Unlimited. It originates from a YouTube video in which there is a cat with a body made of a Pop-Tart flying through space with a rainbow trail, accompanied by the song Nyanyanyanya, sung by the UTAU character Momone Momo (the song was originally sung by Hatsune Miku, but that version wasn't used for the meme). In Scribblenauts Unlimited, Nyan Cats are eaten by other NPCs (mainly humans) due to their Pop-Tart bodies.

Trivia[]
- Nyan Cat can be seen in the E3 2012 preview of Scribblenauts Unlimited.
- If you put a Nyan Cat into a toaster, it will light up as if a bomb was triggered. It will then fly upwards shortly after and explode into three rainbows (although not in the 3DS version).
- This is a reference to a YouTube video showing Nyan Cat being born by flying out of a toaster.
- Nyan Cat's evil counterpart "Tac Nayn" is not a spawnable object, despite also being a popular meme at the time, and Longcat's evil counterpart, Tacgnol being spawnable.
- In 2013 Nyan Cat creator Christopher Orlando Torres engaged in a copyright and trademark infringement lawsuit against Warner Bros. over the character's unauthorized appearance in Scribblenauts Unlimited.
- Making Nyan Cat invisible reveals it has full sprites for each of it's legs, even though all that's normally seen is the bottoms of it's feet since they're covered by it's large body, which is layered in front of them.
- In the North American 3DS version of Scribblenauts Unlimited, the sprite for the Nyan Cat strangely has some strange differences.
- It has no outlines on it's Pop-Tart body and rainbow trail.
- A small gap appears between the Nyan Cat's feet and body, which is likely a side effect of the lack of an outline, which would have covered this up.
- if you make this Nyan Cat invisible, it only consists of it's legs and head, due to how the invisible adjective removed everything but the Black Outline of a sprite.
- The Pop-Tart appears at first to have no red sprinkles on it.
- In actuality, the sprinkles are still there, but are extremely small, to the point where they do not even make up one pixel of a standard 3DS screen unless it's size is dramatically increased.
- It has no outlines on it's Pop-Tart body and rainbow trail.
