Pirates wear pirate hats and wield cutlasses. They will ride a pirate ship. In Super Scribblenauts, they are not hostile towards Maxwell, and Liz takes the form of a pirate who makes everyone else pirates. Pirates will fight ninjas. This is a reference to the Pirates vs Ninjas meme. Being criminals, they get attacked by cops. They do not like the kraken and can easily defeat one. Pirates can swim underwater and they will steal a weapon if they do not have one. They are interested in monkeys and parrots. They will also steal money if they are empty-handed.
