The Plesiosaurus is a hostile, carnivorous prehistoric marine reptile that lived during the Jurassic and the Cretaceous periods. It is blue, possesses four flippers and a long, prehensile neck, contrary to the real-life plesiosaurs' relatively stiff necks. If the adjective vast is added to it, it can kill most living things in one hit.

The fabled Loch Ness monster is rumored to be a plesiosaur, and its appearance in the game reflects this.
