A Remote is a component of an electronics device, most commonly a television set, DVD player and home theater systems originally used for operating the device wirelessly from a short line-of-sight distance.

Uses

Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts

The player can throw this object, however it won't cause any damage. It will explode and electrify nearby objects when placed underwater.

Scribblenauts Unlimited

If you hold the remote, and click on a TV, you will notice an additional Turn On/Off option. Selecting the second of the two options will prompt Maxwell to use the remote to operate the TV, rather than walking up to the TV and doing it manually.

In Scribblenauts Unlimited, you will be awarded a Shard titled "The Clicker" for doing this.

Scribblenauts Unmasked

In Scribblenauts Unmasked, and later games, the remote control gives an Attack option. Selecting makes the the control shoot an invisible projectile that turns on and off the TV.

If you try using it on a person, they will run away from you, thinking you are attacking them.
