Rex is a playable avatar in Scribblenauts Showdown. He is unlocked by earning the Dr. Frankenstein award, requiring the player to purchase all possible Custom Scribblenaut parts.
The in-game description for Rex's unlock requirements are a bit misleading, and state that the player must "unlock all Custom Scribblenaut parts". This is untrue, and parts tied to other avatars are not needed to complete the Dr. Frankenstein award or unlock Rex.
Rex is based on a Construction Worker.
In certain minigames, players use vehicles that visually change based on their selected Scribblenaut. Rex uses the following vehicles:
