The Rover is a unique vehicle that appears exclusively in the minigame Red Rover! in Scribblenauts Showdown. It's a drivable Mars rover used by the player, and is distinct from the standard Rover seen elsewhere.
Behavior[]
During the minigame, the rover tows five of the player's chosen object behind it by a cable, automatically dropping one object off at each station it reaches.
While traveling between stations, the rover must navigate a rough, rocky environment filled with several hazards. It slows down when its main body comes into contact with these obstacles. To avoid them, the player can raise and lower the rover's body, lifting it to pass over short obstacles and lowing it to duck under overhangs. The rover can also jump to clear larger obstacles, and its speed is adjustable as well.
The rover's behavior is not impacted by its appearance in the game.
Appearance[]
The rover's appearance is not fixed, and instead changes based on the current avatar. For example, Maxwell uses a white rover, while Lily's rover is a mix of black, white, and red. There are 10 different varieties of rover that can appear.

My Scribblenaut[]
When making a custom avatar in the My Scribblenaut menu, the player can choose which variant of rover they use for the Red Rover! minigame. By default, only the white rover is unlocked, and with other variants being purchasable for 5 Starites each. Once purchased, variants can be used an unlimited number of times across all avatars.
