Sand worm is a very large desert-dwelling worm-like creature. In Scribblenauts, it was skeletal, with a red head and yellow eyes and is synonymous to Death Worm. In Super Scribblenauts, it is a beige, eyeless worm. In both games, they are aggressive but can be ridden after taming. In Remix, it gets instantly killed like the Burning Man if it is sprayed with a water gun. It also loses its hostility and its ability to be ridden. It will instantly die if it is dropped in water. It may be a reference to the giant Sand Worms from Star Wars on planet Tatooine or the Sand Worms from the Dune universe created by Frank Herbert. It could also be a reference to the Graboids from Tremors.
