Scribblenauts are humanoids in a red suits with a star necklaces who travel the worlds looking for Starites. Maxwell collects Starites to become a master scribblenaut. Maxwell wears a star necklace and a rooster hat to try and look like one of them.
Known Behaviour
Like other human NPCs, they become frightened when attacked and eat food. They guard fake and real Starites (though not in Super Scribblenauts or Scribblenauts Remix).

Trivia
- The male Scribblenaut's design was the original design of Maxwell.
- Scribblenauts are like Maxwell, which their objective is to obtain the Starites. They are presumably trained by the Professor at the University to set off on quests to locate Starites.
- In Scribblenauts, the scribblenaut is the only non-purchasable avatar in the game and can only be achieved by completing Challenge Mode with advanced mode (completing a puzzle/action level three times).
- In Super Scribblenauts, the scribblenaut is a purchasable avatar at the start.
- Scribblenauts are not unlockable avatars in Unlimited, but can be played as if you make one using the Avatar Maker (Wii U/PC version ONLY).
- A person can be turned into a scribblenaut via @monstermagic.
