Scribblenauts Collection is a Nintendo DS game featuring both the original Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts. The double game combo package includes both Nintendo DS games on one cartridge, each with their respective levels, objects, and features, with save files independent of each other.

Upon booting the game, some credits will display and the player will be presented with a choice between the two games. This menu cannot be returned to in either game, nor is there a button combination to soft-reset the game. The player must reboot their Nintendo DS or go to the DSi/3DS home menu and restart the game to play the other selection.

Differences[]

  • Scribblenauts Collection includes a generally improved version of Scribblenauts. The known differences are as follows:
    • The opening credits upon starting the game can be skipped by tapping the screen.
    • This version adds the ability to move Maxwell with the +Control Pad. This introduces a new bug exclusive to this version of this game where Maxwell can double jump.
    • Per the above, the "language" option has been replaced with "controls".
    • LOLWUT, and possibly other objects, have been removed.
    • Restrictions on flying with items like Wings no longer apply; now Maxwell can stay in the air forever.
    • Some exploits and crashes have been fixed. The major exploits include the following:
      • Attempting to trick the game into thinking that an object is different for the purposes of Advanced Mode by adding extra characters at the beginning will no longer work.
      • Attempting to freely move the Starite by using certain object interactions no longer works. Moving a container with pre-generated level elements in it always empties the container.
    • The Pi merit now is unlockable.
