Scribblenauts Remix is an app for the iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad that can be bought from the app store. It has numerous levels from Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts, but it also adds 20 new levels. You could buy it at £2.99/$4.99, although this price drops sometimes, usually for US celebrations. Adjectives from Super Scribblenauts are included. The graphics styles have changed for many aspects of this game, and the spawned objects now have a shaded effect to them.

The concept is pretty much the same as the original games, with the player solving problems and obtaining Starites by typing a word and spawning whatever he/she can think of. The playgrounds are smaller than the normal game ones, but work exactly the same way, as the player types in any word and as many adjectives as can fit, then the object can be tested and played with to hearts desire.

Ollars have been included, but they are pretty much useless. Ollars can be earned by playing the different levels and creating things in the playground. Unlike the original Scribblenauts, where ollars are used to buy songs, avatars, and different levels, but in Scribblenauts Remix, that isn't the case. The avatars are purchased with real money, but more levels are unlocked when the user finishes a world. Songs are not a part of Scribblenauts Remix.

Notes

  • The graphics in this game are similar to the ones shown in trailers for the original Scribblenauts.
  • 20 DLC levels are currently available for an extra £0.69/$0.99.
  • Eight backgrounds have been added, but two have been found in a glitch. The eight current backgrounds are Forest, Christmas, Valentines, Easter, Kingdom, Desert, Classroom, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. (World Pass or DLC). The glitched ones were a rocky mountain area and a school yard.
