Shambler (also known as the Star Vampire) is an aggressive monster from the Lovecraft-inspired story, The Shambler From The Stars (1935) by Robert Bloch. If tamed, it can be ridden. When it dies, it will flip over onto its back and make a moan like a zombie before disappearing. Despite being hostile, it is neutral towards the other Lovecraftian creatures: Cthulhu and the Shoggoth, as well as objects with the Lovecraftian adjective.
