A snake is a long limbless reptile.
Behavior
Pre-Unlimited
They will attack most other living beings, including members of the same species. Any creature that is attacked by a snake becomes poisoned. Cowboys and mongooses are hostile towards them. They will eat mice (but not birds, unlike real life).
Post-Unlimited
Some behaviors are the same, they give the poisoned adjective when attacking, they eat small rodents (mouse, rat, hamster etc) and cowboys are still hostile towards them. In recent games the snake in neutral, only attacking in self-defense. Mongooses won't attack them, instead they will try to eat them.
