The Spaceship is a unique vehicle that appears exclusively in the minigame Rocket Rubble! in Scribblenauts Showdown. It's a personal rocket used by the player, and is distinct from the standard Spaceship or Rocket Ship seen elsewhere.
Behavior[]
During the minigame, the spaceship is used to collect objects in space and bring them into a black hole. The player steers the spaceship using the joystick, and uses a button to accelerate forwards.
The spaceship is able to collect objects floating in space by touching them, which then begin to follow the spaceship in single file line, forming a "chain" behind it. The spaceship can hold up to 10 objects in a chain at once. If a player's spaceship comes into contact with the opponent's chain, the chain will break at the contact point, and the opponent will lose all of the objects that have been disconnected.
The spaceship's behavior is not impacted by its appearance in the game.
Appearance[]
The spaceship's appearance is not fixed, and instead changes based on the current avatar. For example, Maxwell uses a simple red and white spaceship, while Lily's spaceship is a grayish-blue and yellow. There are 10 different varieties of spaceship that can appear.
Additionally, each player's spaceship uses different colored flames, with Player 1's spaceship using blue flame while Player 2's spaceship uses red flames instead. This has no relation to the appearance of the spaceship or the avatar chosen, and is tied strictly to player number.

My Scribblenaut[]
When making a custom avatar in the My Scribblenaut menu, the player can choose which variant of spaceship they use for the Rocket Rubble! minigame. By default, only the simple red and white spaceship is unlocked, and with other variants being purchasable for 5 Starites each. Once purchased, variants can be used an unlimited number of times across all avatars.
Trivia[]
- The simple red and white variant of the spaceship used by Maxwell, among others, is based on the standard Rocket Ship object.
- Unlike the standard rocket though, the Minigame Spaceship has the window centered on it's sprite.
- Despite both the minigame being called "Rocket Rubble!", and it's default appearance being based on the Rocket Ship object, the vehicle is called a "Spaceship" in the My Scribblenaut vehicle menu.
- Only two flame colors exist for the spaceship. Alternate flame colors for Player 3 and Player 4 are not used when they play the minigame in Showdown mode.
