The burning man is a summonable creature in Scribblenauts. He is a hostile creature made from what appears to be wood, but it is also immune to fire-based attacks from weapons (flamethrowers, etc.) or other things, and his weakness seems to be water, as he takes damage from water attacks, like a squirt gun shot. In Remix, he seems to be fireproof and part bulletproof, as a gun only pushes it, but other bullets hit it. A fearless fireman will easily kill it. Also, placing it in a body of water (such as a lake or a sea) will make it explode, therefore instantly killing it. He cannot be summoned in the mobile version of Scribblenauts Unlimited.

- The burning man is a reference to the Wicker Men used in human sacrifice by ancient Gauls, though they gained attention after the 1973 film The Wicker Man.
