Tempo is one of Maxwell's brothers. He is based on a classy dancer, being interested in Musicians and seeking out nearby Dance Floors. In Scribblenauts Unlimited, Tempo can be found in the Capital City Runoff.

Appearance[]

Tempo wears a grey suit with a red flower pinned to his collar. His grey rooster helmet resembles a brimmed hat or a fedora. He also has a small mustache.

How to Unlock[]

In the Capital City Runoff, Tempo is bound in a rope connected to a Safe and needs help cutting the rope. The player can cut/destroy the rope with almost any handheld tool. Solutions include, but are not limited to: a knife, scissors, and a couple of shears.

Trivia[]

  • Tempo has similar appearance to Milo.
  • It can be inferred that Tempo might be involved in some unethical business with gangsters, due to the conditions of his unlock mission.
    • This suggests that Tempo isn't simply a dancer, but potentially also a malandro.
    • Despite his unlock mission in Unlimited, Tempo is not considered a criminal by the game itself, and has no special interactions with gangsters, police, or similar NPCs.
  • "Tempo" is a music term used to refer to the music's speed. It's also the word for "Time" in Portuguese.
  • Strangely, in the Switch version of the Scribblenauts Mega Pack, Davenport will use Tempo's sprite if he is made female.
  • Tempo appears in the comic series Scribblenauts Unmasked: A Crisis of Imagination without his mustache.
  • He is referred as "Dancer" in the game files, which is self explanatory.
