Tide Pools are rocky pools connected to oceans that are filled with seawater. Many of these pools exist as separate entities only at low tide. Tide pools, or tidal pools, are the highest segment of an ocean, but are still rather deep. Small creatures -such as clams- commonly find their niche in tide pools.
