The Top Hat, is a tall, flat-crowned, broad-brimmed hat, predominantly worn from the latter part of the 18th to the middle of the 20th century.

The player and NPCs can wear this object. It can be used to solve puzzles where the player needs to disguise himself, or look stylish for other people.
Objects wielding the aristocratic, gentlemanly, charlatanish and respected adjective will spawn with this object. The male variant of Emily Halpin spawns wielding a top hat.
In Scribblenauts Unlimited and later games, the player will equip a top hat when interacting with a time machine.
