How I view vertebrates is there are only four main classes of vertebrates, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and fish, because birds should scientifically classed as reptiles under the order aves, due to the fact birds descended from dinosaurs and their closest relatives are crocodiles, which both dinosaurs and crocs are reptiles. to define birds is they're a group of reptiles that are bipedal, beaked, feathered all over their bodies much like their dinosaur ancestors (making birds the only animals with feathers) and their forelimbs are modified into wings for the ability of flight, however not all birds fly such as penguins and ostriches for example. When i went on reptiles page on Scribblenauts what do you mean excluding dinosaurs, dinosaurs are in the reptile class which they are descended from lizards
