I'd like to officially re-welcome myself back into the community after three weeks of luxurious vacation! At the least to say, most of it was fabu, asides from the fact that I fell hostage to a virus moving around the area and was weak for almost half of the trip.
The Trip[]
As with every year, I head off with a few family members to the "Amish Country" of Pennsylvania (USA). We stay at a quiet Mennonite Bed & Breakfast for about three weeks, seeing sights and going shopping every once in a while. About half a week in, I began to feel sickly and turned up with a massive headache. The next morning I awoke to a fever, upset stomach and splitting headache, along with a puny feeling and sore joints.
After about a week I had believed that I was over it until the fever massively spiked to 104F, causing me to have to have someone to drive me up to the Urgent Care. After getting checked out, I learned that I was a wee bit dehydrated, but nothing more. I took some medicines prescribed to me and the fever almost instantly shook off.

- Amish: Amish refers to a Christian religion that's usually located around most of the East Coast of the USA. Amish do not believe in most of the technological advances today (particularly in owning them). This means no modern electricity, using only oil and gas. They cannot own vehicles and, therefore, ride scooters, bikes, and buggies (horse pulled cart). Amish do not wear "modern" clothing and prefer modest instead.
- Mennonite: Similar to the Amish, it is also a Christian religion located up the East Coast. Mennonites are allowed modern technologies, but this varies depending on the church. Many Mennonites are farming families. Along both religions, many children are allowed to drop out of school at the age of 13 or so to help around the farm.
One thing that bugs me, however, is that the Amish can ride cars, but can't own them because they are modern....
