A Viperfish is a deep-sea predatory fish that uses a bioluminescent organ situated at the end of a spike to lure prey, though this is not seen in game. In game it will attack any sentient being, including members of it's own species.
In game, it eats Meat, but simply attacks other fish instead of eating them.
Stareaters are any of a number of small, deep-sea fish. They possess a bio-luminescent red chin barbel that the fish use to lure prey into striking distance, again not seen in game.. A snaggletooth is another name for a stareater.
